The tragic news of the death of G. Lykoudi, that so much unfairly lost his life in the fatal flight with the F-16 in the sides near Pilion, outshone all the past week's events. The funeral of the 28 years old first lieutenant took place in the Holy Temple of Saint Marina in Vlahata, his village, in heavy, gloomy atmosphere, with the presence of many people and all the political leadership of the Prefecture.
In the remainder news reports dominated the visit of prefect D. Lefkaditi in the ministry of Commercial Shipping for the promotion of the work concerning the Port of Argostoli, while with regard to the athletic events in  our island this passed Weekend, the local championships of the A and B Category begun, while Pallixouriakos lost 6-0 in Lixouri from Fokiko.
