It was founded in 1981.
Every year on 15th August with the help of the people of the village it organises a feast, with live music, dance and food, leaving its own history in the cultural summertime events in Cephalonia. It maintains with its small forces clean and functional the square of the village. It lives with the hope and the promise of all the creative people who love it and live in it, to exist also in the future with multiples forces for the better solution of the problems of the village, to elevate and to promote the culture of this village.
