The cave is in the south of Vohina's gorge in an altidute of 70m and it's 190m2. Excavations and archaeological recearch associate it with the Prehistoric era, when it was used as a lodgin, but also with the Historic and the Hellenistic era, when it was used as a place of worship.
The excavations started in 1992 and they continue up to now. However, its natural ground has not been found yet. The excavation findings are mainly ceramic worship utensils,idols- mainly female- and animals' bones from sacrifices. Apparent are also found some intervantions in the cave, like walls, fire places and ground- floors.
