Hello, it is Despina and Manolis from Kefalonia. We run Kalypso, a complex of 5 apartments and 2 studios situated in Karavomylos, a fishing village just 1,5km from Sami, the main port of the island.
Karavomylos is the most suitable place to stay if you are interested in making excursions around the island as it equally distances from most parts of Kefalonia.

In our village you can find a mini-market, a bakery and traditional taverns. You can enjoy a walk around the lake of Karavomylos where ends the water of Melissani. The unique games of earth and water have created magnificent physical phenomena such as the Cave – Lake of Melissani which is only 200m from us.

Within 50 m there is a Basketball court, a Tennis court and Mini soccer. As far as water sports are concerned you can enjoy them in Antisamos beach.
Special walking trails, take you by the seashore or to historical monuments such as Ancient Acropolis. In addition there is possibility for mountain biking, hiking, horse riding.

The apartments are air conditioned, spacious and fully equipped for two, three or four people with satellite TV, kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, private bathroom with hot water all day long.  Each apartment has its own balcony overlooking the sea or the mount Ainos.
In our garden overlooking Ithaca, it is where you can relax by or in the swim spa, use the barbeque, have some local wine at the coffee bar and enjoy a special night with your family or friends.

We provide our guests with Internet and fax service, car/bike rental services, lounge with Sat TV & DVD player and our young friends with a playground.
The cleaning services are held on daily basis – except Sundays – keeping the hygienic standards high. Our hospitality is friendly and we make our guests feel comfortable providing them with the best they deserve.
